I'm just gonna start by saying it: I love Peter Jackson. While The Hobbit is literally filming "right now" (seriously as I'm typing and as you're reading they are filming) Peter Jackson gives us constant glimpses of the process of making The Hobbit. Jackson will be posting video blogs constantly throughout the 2-film project on his facebook page, we will be posting each blog as well. And we have the first of many blogs below.
Jackson gives us amazing looks at the set of Bag End, Small insights to Rivendell, and the set of the Misty Mountain Caves. He brings us in for a close look at the costume designing for the Dwarfs and gives us a quick peak of a variety of weapons. We also get to see the cast, like Martin Freeman (Bilbo), Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Andy Serkis (Gollum) as they prepare for the first day of filming. And the ending makes me leap for joy as Freeman gives us a taste of whats to come, with a Bilbo Baggins voice-over. For just the first blog, I am already dying to see this movie. Those 10 minutes just make me want more! I Want More!!!

The Hobbit comes to theaters November 2012 and stars Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Martin Freeman, David Tennant, Ian McKellen, Christopher Lee and Andy Serkis. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.

The Social Network‘s Josh Pence reportedly has been cast as a young Ra’s al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises. According to Heat Vision, Pence will take on the role played by Liam Neeson in 2005′s Batman Begins for flashback scenes set 30 years in the past. His casting would seem to confirm speculation that Marion Cotillard will portray Talia al Ghul, Bruce Wayne’s mentor-turned-nemesis, in the final chapter of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Last month rumors flourished about what role John Levit-Gordon play, about a possible Robin appearance, and that Talia will take over for her father as the leader of the League of Shadows. Thankfully Pence's role helps us better assume that the latter is most likely true.

If you ask me, I think Pence is an incredibly great casting decision for the role of young Ra’s al Ghul. Not only is he a great actor but can easily be perceived as a younger Liam Neeson.

He joins a cast that so far includes Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and, presumably, Marion Cotillard. The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20, 2012.

Tim Miller, who worked in visual effects on X-Men and X2,  will make his directorial debut on Fox’s Deadpool, Deadline reports.

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine spinoff, which is expected to star Ryan Reynolds as the merc with a mouth, features an R-rated screenplay by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick that producer Lauren Shuler Donner insists stays true to its comic roots, with Deadpool breaking the fourth wall.

Donner has described the movie as “a total reboot,” saying, “We’re either going to pretend that X-Men Origins: Wolverine didn’t happen, or mock it, which he could do.”

So a debut director. Hero of Bust? Fingers crossed, because I know we all have that same deep, dark, fourth wall, desire for the greatest superhero/mercenary movie to ever see the silver screen, be no other than Deadpool.

The Rumors are now gone and facts comes into light. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye appears in Thor, Marvel provides it with this second clip from the movie that provides a shadowy glimpse of the archer in action. It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it look, but a look nonetheless. Now is he wearing the Hawkeye costume? I dont think he is but I'm sure there is no reason to worry.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings Joshua Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Rene Russo, Clark Gregg and Samuel L. Jackson.

After constant Green Light, Red Light, The Deadpool movie is again seeing all green. Not only is it a green light but actor Ryan Reynolds, who is to play the Merc with a Mouth, said at Wonder-Con that not only is the movie a "go" but confirms the movie will be a "Hard 'R' Rating".

Reynolds says, "Deadpool is not a villain, he's an asshole," Reynolds tells a fan he doesn't want to discuss the prospects of a Deadpool feature film, saying there are too many unknowns, but he enjoyed playing the character, would have done some things differently, and if they do a movie, they'll do it the right way — "hard R."

When asked about the script and fears of a Wolverine: Origins repeat, the Star replied.
"Worry not, I want it to happen. I just feel like when it does happen, it has to be done the exact right way. I've been a part of it for way, way too long, and it has to be done extremely well. There's a lot I could say about it right now, but there are moving parts that I really want to see to fruition and I want to see them happen, so I don't want to get into and put the cart before the horse, so we'll see. The script is exactly where I want it to be," he said. "[The script is], tonally speaking, perfect."
